Micro Expeditions - Latest news... The DES is keen to get more of our young leaders taking expeditions and so we are now looking at running Micro Expeditions. We realise you can't all drop your commitments and disappear for 4 weeks, but that doesn't mean you can't do DES trips. (Young Leader Sarah-Louise Kelly & Team in the Dolomites on their Micro Expedition 2009) We are looking for interested Volunteer Leaders to take trips (probably UK based, but not essential) on shorter expeditions. Our first one to run will be in the Isle of Skye in Easter 2011 and is a Mountain biking/and or trekking...
